2017 Banquet

We will be having an awards banquet on December 16th at 5:00 at the Anschultz shop.  We invite everyone to come out and discuss the options we have coming up next year and get a plate of fish!   We will be giving awards out to the top 3 AOY, top 3 classic finishers, and the biggest fish of the year.  The shop is located at 4007 N. Main St. Newport AR 72112 if you need directions feel free to call.  We look forward to seeing everyone!

The final tournament of the year was an exciting one to say the least.  Our first 2 day tournament was met with continuously changing conditions, from a cold and slick day 1 to a high wind, high temperature day 2.  We seen the change help as much as it hurt some teams but we had a good experience none the less.  Congratulations to the top 5 and thanks to everyone who came out to participate!  We will have an awards banquet in the coming month I will get with everyone on that and let you know when and where.  It has been a good year, and we look forward to getting started next!  The weigh in group was phenomenal this year, we appreciate the time you guys take to make sure its all done right and make for a smooth weigh in.

Black River Transportation Classic at Bull Shoals

First off we want to thank everyone for their participation, support, and help throughout the year.  We have had another successful club year and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the water soon.

The BRT Classic is right around the corner, next weekend to be exact (November 4th, and 5th).  We will take off the first day from Bull Shoals Boat Dock, the same ramp we used at the beginning of the year.  The second day due to a benefit tournament going out of there we will be moving to the Lakeview Ramp, and I will post a photo below showing where it is located.  

We have the rooms reserved at the Lighthouse Point Resort, and a few of the guys are going to stay at The Driftwood Resort across the road.  If you need help getting one give me a call.  

You will pay the entry fee for this tournament like the rest of them throughout the year then be paid a Classic Bonus for the top 5 and big bass.

Spotted Bass "Kentucky" Tourney

We will be hosting another river tournament this Saturday blasting off from Jacksonport at 7 AM and weighing in at 1 PM.

THE CATCH...this will be a "Kentucky" only tournament. You will be allowed to only weigh in Spotted or "Kentucky" bass. 5 bass limit, $30 per boat. This will be a pure river tournament. We invite everyone to come out!

With the season winding down we found ourselves on Hurricane refuge.  The conditions were pretty decent and we had some good sacks of fish weighed in.  With only 2 more regular season tournaments left we will be looking at the classic qualifying and I will list the number of tournaments needed to qualify.  We are going to be fishing Bull Shoals and we are looking at a couple different options as far as the lodging will go.  We will discuss this further at East Lake which is coming up next month on September 23rd.  

We are hosting the Busch Light White River Team Bass Tournament on September 9th out of Jacksonport State Park.  I hope to see all of our local guys at this one and hopefully we can get some outside interest and see some new faces coming around and interested in our club.  We are going to take off at 7 AM and weigh in at 3 PM.

Martin Industrial Supplies Hurricane Scramble

It's tournament week! We will be fishing Hurricane Refuge this weekend for the Martin Industrial Supplies scramble tournament. We will meet at the main parking lot on the refuge, everyone will need to be paid and checked before 5:30. You will be informed your number and you will drive off in that order to your lake however, you also may put in the river to fish if you'd like. We will meet back at the parking lot to weigh in at 2:00.
