OPEN TOURNAMENT THIS SATURDAY!!!

The Jackson County Bass Club is going to host an open tournament this Saturday at Lake Conway. We will put in at Palarm Creek Landing and start fishing at 6:00 and plan to weigh in at 2:00. To ensure we have enough people going, I would appreciate each of you contacting me to let me know if you plan to attend. If you know of others that are going also, please let me know.

We will pay out based on how many people show up. It will cost $25 per man. There are no points that will be awarded for our AOY standings. Non-members are welcome and will not count as a guest as far as the club season goes. Remember, if you plan to be there, please let me know. Call or text (870) 512-9400.

It gets pretty bunched up after this. There are 19 boats with more than 30 points. Remember, each team drops their two lowest totals from the season. I believe that, so far, there are 14 boats that have fished in every tournament. That is great!

Congratulations to Doug Cockrill and Dennis Browning! They caught a 5 fish limit of a whopping 18.87 lbs. Second place went to Nicky Gates and Fuzzy Gates with 17.62 lbs. Third place was Thaxton and Zuber with 15.51 lbs. You know it is tough when you bring in 13.02 lbs and finish 4th. That was Dustin Roddy. Big Bass went to Jason Walker and Jason Gates (5.92 lb monster)!

CONWAY UPDATE

We are going to launch at 6:00 tomorrow morning. Try to be there at around 5:45 or so. Please call someone and let them know this. I posted this info a couple of days ago, but for some reason it wasn't showing up. We will be able to go out of Palarm Creek landing again and I expect to have another good crowd. I am sorry that the original post was removed, but I plan to fish until 2:30 or 3:00 tomorrow.
