They had 4 solid bass that nearly reached 10 pounds. Third belonged to Jason Walker and Jason Gates. Two of their three keepers were very solid fish and helped propel them into the money. Ricky and Bobby Gates had 4 keepers that went 6.65 to gain them some AOY points. Thanks to everybody for making the long trip and I look forward to seeing you all at East Lake.

Arkansas River (Pendleton)

We will launch from the Pendleton Ramp (right below the Hwy 165 bridge) at 5:45 a.m. Saturday morning. Please be there by 5:30 to ensure we get out on time. We will probably fish until 1:30 or so, so be prepared to be there for a while. I don't think many people are going to want to drive down there that far and only fish 6 hours. If you disagree with this, please feel free to call me.

I would also ask that you contact me in the next few days to let me know if you plan to fish, so I will have an approximate number in mind to be looking for on Saturday. Good luck to everybody and please be very careful driving down (and dodging gators while fishing!)!
