Horseshoe Lake Tournament

We are fishing Saturday at Horseshoe Lake (near Hughes, AR).  We will launch from Clyde's ramp.  I have asked that everybody be there at around 7:15 so we can get everybody paid and ready to fish.  If the forecast doesn't change, we will begin fishing as soon as everybody is paid and ready to go.  I hope to have all boats in the water by 7:30 and ready to fish shortly thereafter.  So be at Clyde's by 7:30.

The weather forecast is showing a high of about 60 and a low of about 40, so it should be a nice day!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

IT'S TIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!

Yes, fishermen.....it is that time again!  The 2014 Jackson County Bass Club is going to kick off this coming Saturday, March 1st at Horseshoe Lake near Hughes.  We will put in at Clyde's ramp in the southwest part of the lake.  Due to the forecasted cool temperatures, I am planning for us to launch at 8:00am and fish until 3:00pm.  Please try to be there at around 7:15 or so because it will take a little extra time to get memberships paid along with entry fees for the first tournament.  We will launch in order of last year's final AOY standings.

We have currently received sponsorships from

Diaz Scrap Metal

George Kell Motors

White River Beverage Co.

Ryan's Country Store

From what I hear, we may be picking up a couple more sponsors, but we will take as many as we can get.  So, if you know a business owner that may be willing to sponsor, just ask them! Thank you very much to the current sponsors!!!

RAFFLE:::

We are still selling chances for someone to win a $400 Traditions Pursuit .50cal Ultralight Muzzleloader.  Each chance is $5, or you can get 6 chances for $25, or 15 chances for $50.  Please sell as many as you can.  I plan to announce this to the club again Saturday and hopefully draw for the prize before our second tournament.

I am really looking forward to our 2014 season!  If you know of someone that is considering fishing with our club, please put them in touch with me, or call me to get in touch with them.

If you have any questions, please give me a call (870-512-9400).  If you would like to pay your membership this week sometime, feel free to come see me.

I hope to see everyone there!
