Mother nature really hit hard this first week of November for our anglers.  The days leading up to the tournament rain and cold temperatures moved in to replace what was warm and dry conditions.  The anglers had to adapt over the two days from pouring rain, high winds, and cooler conditions, to the sun coming out and warming up late in the second day.  The fishing was tough, weights were low but someone still has to win.  We had a good turnout, a better payout, and an all around good time and great fellowship while being hosted by Whispering Woods Cabins!  We thank everyone who stuck it out and dealt with the weather's swinging conditions and everyone who has competed this year.  We will hold an awards banquet later on this year and will post on the dates for that.  Thanks to all of our sponsors as always, and the new faces brought in over this year!  We look forward to the beginning of 2019 and getting another season kicked off!

2018 Jackson County Bass Club Classic at Norfork!

This weekend we will be fishing the JCBC classic on Lake Norfork (Friday 11/2 and Saturday 11/3).  We will take off at 7:00 and weigh in at 3:00 both days from Jordan Marina.

The entry for this tournament is $30/per person. 

Classic bonus will pay as following

We had a stellar tournament day, and even better tournament results.  Peckerwood rarely lets us down, but this showing was one of the club's best to date.  We had 22 boats show up, 19 limits with 100 fish crossing the scales weighing just a hair shy of 250 total pounds.  Congratulations to the top 5, and especially to Joe and Ron for bringing a huge bag in tipping the scales a little over 22 pounds!  We look forward to Conway on June 2nd launching out of Palarm Creek.  The particulars will be announced closer to tournament time.

Amendments to Rules, Regulations, and Schedule

After the board meeting last night there have been a few amendments to the club rules/regulations and schedule. 

-The classic will be held on November 2nd and 3rd. (Friday & Saturday)

-Per every "tournament sponsor" we receive, 80% of that will be split according to anglers in the tournament and added to the regular winnings. The remaining 20% will bet set back for AOY payout.

The additional tournament sponsor bonus will be split following the same % formula as the tournament.  The amounts will be as listed...

As our guys went out Saturday morning they were faced with some extreme April weather.  Sleet, and freezing temperatures gave the bass quite the lock jaw as only one limit was brought across the scales.  Congratulations to the top 5 and thanks for everyone making the drive to come fish with us!  Our next stop will put us back on Greers Ferry on April 28th out of the Hill Creek launch.  We will post take off times closer to then.

Arkansas River Tournament Update
