On a hot, calm, and down right tough day NIcky Gates and Jesse Cordell brought in the biggest sack of fish to the scales with a very nice sack of fish.  Behind them in second place was Marvin Ross and Eugene Zuber, Justin Doyle and Chip Youngblood, Bob Hardin and Sawyer Floyd who also brought in the biggest bass, and Ken Youngblood and Mark Watson.  We will have a month break before the next tournament which will be the Horner, Shirey and Portia Bay scramble.  In the mean time be looking at how many tournaments you have fished some of you are still a little short from qualifying for the classic which is done by fishing 5 tournaments this year. 

On another note, we will be raffling off a 7'6" Medium Heavy Abu Garcia Villain Rod, valued at $180.  Raffle tickets will be $3 per ticket or 6 tickets for $15.  When you take the money make sure you have their names down.  We will draw for the rod at the classic on September 27th, the last day for taking money for the drawing will be September 20th, and the money and names need to be turned in to Andy Latting by September 24th.
