On a fairly cloudy and calm day Mitch Brannon was able to crack the code and bring in a nice bag of bass to the scales, anchored by the 7 pound mud turkey giving himself a good payday of first and big bass. Behind him also with a good sack of fish was Jason Walker and Bobby Gates, third place was held by Bill Wooten and Eddie Watkins. Only one hundredth of a pound separated fourth and fifth places, with the father son duo of MIke and Blake Anschultz just edging out the team of Ron Mounts and Darrell Fletcher. Congratulations to these guys, and a special thanks to Jesse Cordell and NIcky Gates for filling in today to run the scales! Our next tournament will be down south at East Lake on September 6th. We hope to see everyone out there, this is the last regular season tournament of the year. There are a few teams on the bubble for the classic, remember you have to fish 5 tournaments to qualify. We will discuss the classic after the weigh in, if weather permits so have in mind where you would like to go. Also don't forget about the drawing we are having for the Abu Garcia Villain Rod. Tickets are $3 a piece or 6 for $15.
