After finally getting to get on the water, we were met with less than ideal conditions for the first tournament of the year.  Battling with the high winds, sleet and rain, and just a down right nasty day made it a bit more challenging to get the fish to eat.  Mike and Chris Bruner figured the puzzle out bringing one of the only two limits of fish to the scales and weighing enough to take First Place.  Behind them were Bob Hardin and Sawyer Floyd weighing the only other limit of fish for the day.  Third went to Nicky Gates and Jesse Cordell, fourth was Mitch and Clint Bruner, and fifth place was Brad Keifner and Billy Keedy.  Travis Hopkins and Shane Lindsey brought the one that everyone was looking for, a 5 and a half pound Dardanelle stud! A huge thanks to Reliant Therapy, and all the guys that came to fish for the first tournament of the year!  This year looks to be really setting up good, and I appreciate everyone who helped with the weigh in Saturday.  I will be asking about shirts at the Greers tournament be ready for that, also we will draw for the cooler at the Norfork tournament on May 2nd.

The Reliant Therapy Lake Dardanelle Tournament

The Lake Dardanelle Tournament sponsored by Reliant Therapy will be this coming Saturday (March 28th) and the blast off time is set for 7:00 A.M launching from the Ouida ramp on Lake Front Drive. If you would like to pay your membership early you can do so at Iberia Bank in Newport. Lake Dardanelle Update

We will be putting in at Illinois Bayou, here is a google map image showing where the launch site is located in relation to the hotel. We will be staying at the American Best Value Suites, which is the same place as last year. The address, and phone number is 204 Lake Front Drive Russellville, AR 72802 479-968-5511. 

Remember the lake will be off limits after this Sunday at midnight! We will also be having a guess the weight competition in the coming week for a chance to win some new JCBC gear, so stay posted!

Lake Poinsett Tourney (Canceled)

Considering the amount of snow and ice we received, our first tournament this Saturday at Lake Poinsett is canceled.  Our regular season will begin on March 28 at Lake Dardanelle!

Lake Poinsett Tournament Update

With inclement weather on its way, I want everyone to know now the plan if the roads are not fit for safe travel this Saturday. I will make the best judgement call, and depending on the amount of snow/ice we get will determine if we are able to fish. If we are not able to fish this Saturday that tournament is canceled and WILL NOT be rescheduled, we will start our regular season at Lake Dardanelle on March 28th.
