Congratulations to Nicky and Fuzzy Gates! They were able to weather the strong winds and cool temperature to bring in a nice sack of bass. Their total weight of 14.09 was enough to win the 20 boat tournament by more than a pound. It looks like they are trying to establish themselves as the team to beat again in 2010. Behind them was Michael Brand and Nate Watson. They brought in 5 bass for 12.75 pounds and it looks like Brand is going to try to pressure the Gates duo again...like 2009. This year he plans to do that with a new partner, Nate Watson. Third place went to Brad Lewis and Dustin Roddy. They were a close third with 12.07 pounds. They had a nice 4.80 lb fish, but they were outdone for Big Bass honors by the Gates' 5.15 lb largemouth.

Thanks for making it such a great tournament again and I look forward to seeing everybody at Norfork. Thanks to Mike Warren, I hope to have some pics posted in the next few days. I didn't realize until today that I actually had the camera with me at the tournament.
